Yamaha has launched the fifth motorcycle of its MT line in Europe. The MT-09 Street Tracker commemorates the first anniversary of the new MT line. The bike, Yamaha says, has been inspired by dirt track scene and has an added touch of street scrambler influence. It will be available for sale in UK showrooms this August. The MT-09 Street Tracker has been built by a Yamaha dealer using genuine factory parts.

The MT-09 Tracker has matt finish components and optional Akrapovic exhaust. There are new aluminium parts too- the front and the side number plates. Yamaha says that the new number plates provide additional wind protection. Though we do not completely agree with Yamaha on this, the number plates sure do look classy and do justice to the theme.

The frame is completely black and the engine is also given a matt black paint with bronze cylinder head. The engine is the same 850cc 3-cylinder from the MT-09 putting out 116PS and 85Nm of torque. The front upside down-forks are painted in gold and the wheels are finished in dark-bronze shade. The new version also has new knee-grips and wider footrests which give a more connected riding experience as per Yamaha.
